Remy’s passion for serving others and her drive to continually improve make her an invaluable leader on our team.

Robinson, Front of House Team Captain

Robinson spent his childhood in Pittsburg, Kansas, and Oklahoma before moving to Hawaiʻi in March of 2007. During his senior year of high school, he began his journey in the food service industry, where he developed a strong foundation in customer service, food safety, teamwork, and leadership. Early on, he learned the value of stepping outside his comfort zone, connecting with people from all walks of life, and taking pride in serving others.

Robinson joined Chick-fil-A Ala Moana in October 2022, starting as a Team Member. Through consistent excellence, dedication, and a passion for developing others, he advanced from Team Member to Trainer, then Lead Trainer, and now serves as a Front of House Team Captain. Robinson takes pride in building strong relationships across all roles and departments and believes everyone deserves the opportunity to be seen, heard, and valued.

His go-to Chick-fil-A meal is a Spicy Chicken Sandwich with extra pickles and Pepper Jack cheese, paired with a large waffle fry and water. His favorite sauce is Sweet & Spicy Sriracha—especially when added to Mac & Cheese, which he says makes it ten times better.

Outside of work, Robinson has a strong passion for history and geography and loves to travel. He has visited Japan and Thailand and hopes to continue exploring the world. One of his life goals is to visit World Heritage Sites and Wonders of the World while meeting the people and cultures that bring those places to life

Noriann Ludwig Norech, Dining Room Lead

Noriann Ludwig Norech, known as Nori, was born in Saipan and often says she “grew up on a plane,” as her childhood involved moving frequently. Hawaiʻi became her permanent home in 2010. While growing up in Hawaiʻi, Nori faced challenges making friends and learning the English language due to attending many different schools. Despite these challenges, she is deeply grateful to live on an island rich in diverse cultures and values, especially the importance of ʻohana.

Being surrounded by different cultures throughout her life inspired Nori’s dream of becoming a flight attendant, allowing her to travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures. Nori began working at just 15 years old during her sophomore year of high school and consistently balanced multiple jobs through high school and after graduation, demonstrating a strong work ethic and determination.

Nori joined Chick-fil-A on November 25, 2023, starting as a Team Member. Her bubbly personality, passion for service, and genuine care for guests quickly set her apart and helped her grow into her current role as Dining Room Director. Working at Chick-fil-A has taught Nori the value of genuine hospitality, building strong guest relationships, and continuing to develop her character and leadership skills.

Her favorite thing about Chick-fil-A—besides serving others—is the food. Her go-to meal is a Chick-fil-A® Sandwich with no pickles, paired with Chick-fil-A Sauce and Buffalo Sauce, along with Mac & Cheese and Polynesian Sauce.

Nori is excited for this new chapter in her life and looks forward to the many adventures ahead.

Andrea Uehara, Front of House Lead

Andrea Uehara was born in the Philippines and moved to Hawaiʻi at age nine, growing up in Kalihi. She started her Chick-fil-A journey in October 2022 and has quickly grown into our Front of House Lead.

A natural leader, Andrea effortlessly keeps our standards high while creating a positive, family-oriented environment. A devoted grandma of four, she thrives on the shared laughter and smiles between team members and guests, knowing the work she does makes a difference in the community.

Her go-to meal? A side salad with blueberries and strawberries (no tomato), a small order of waffle fries, three nuggets, and, of course, Chick-fil-A sauce.

Aven Evangelista, Back of House Lead

Aven Evangelista was born and raised on the beautiful island of Saipan. In 2020, he moved to Hawaiʻi to attend the University of Hawaiʻi. Growing up on a small island taught Aven the values of respect, humility, and kindness—principles that helped him feel right at home working at Chick-fil-A. Aven joined Chick-fil-A in 2022 and enjoys the genuine respect and care shared among team members.

Outside of work, he grew up playing a variety of sports, including baseball, basketball, and volleyball, with baseball being his main passion. One of his most memorable experiences was competing in the Little League World Series in Easley, South Carolina—an incredible and humbling opportunity to play against some of the best teams from around the world. During that trip, Aven visited Atlanta and attended an Atlanta Braves game, where he had Chick-fil-A for the first time.

The Spicy Deluxe Sandwich quickly became his go-to favorite. Today, Aven loves what he does, values the people he works alongside, and is grateful for the opportunity to experience different cultures and learn something new every day.

John Schwenke, Back of House Lead

John Schwenke was born and raised in Hawaiʻi on the island of Oʻahu. He joined Chick-fil-A on July 31, 2023, shortly after graduating high school. From day one, John has appreciated the encouraging and uplifting work environment and the strong culture created by every team member.

Raised in a faith-based home, John lives by the principle “iron sharpens iron,” a value he sees reflected daily through collaboration, support, and continuous personal growth at Chick-fil-A. What he values most about working here is the positive energy shared among the team and the opportunity to grow not only professionally, but also personally and spiritually.

John’s go-to Chick-fil-A order is a Spicy Deluxe sandwich with pepper jack cheese, a large waffle fry, Chick-fil-A sauce, and a large Coke Zero.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending meaningful time with friends and family and worshiping his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He strives to live life to the fullest, make lasting memories, and be grateful for every breath he’s given. Fun fact: despite his size, John never played sports—instead, he’s always been passionate about music and dedicates much of his time to playing instruments and studying music.
